Terms of Use

Welcome to Unending Roads (“Unending Roads”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at unendingroads.com and its content and features (the “Service”). By using the Service — including by browsing, creating an account, posting a review, suggesting an edit, submitting or claiming a campsite — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Unending Roads is

Unending Roads is a free, independent directory and information service that helps people discover campsites, glamping sites and similar outdoor stays across Malaysia. We are a discovery tool only. We do not own, operate, manage, represent or sell any campsite, and we do not take payments or process bookings. Any booking, enquiry, payment or arrangement is made directly between you and the campsite (or a third-party booking platform), and we are not a party to it.

Some listing content is compiled from public sources or generated with the assistance of automated tools; other content is submitted by users or by campsite owners who have claimed their listing (see sections 4 and 5). Regardless of the source, the accuracy disclaimers below apply.

2. Accuracy — no guarantees

Campsite information on the Service is compiled from publicly available sources, third-party platforms (such as mapping and review services), automated/AI-assisted summaries, and submissions from users and campsite owners. It may change over time. Details such as prices, opening hours, availability, operating status, amenities, safety, directions, contact numbers and locations can be outdated, incomplete, inaccurate or wrong.

We make no representation or warranty that any information is accurate, current, reliable or complete, and we do not guarantee it in any way. Nothing on the Service is professional, safety, travel or legal advice. Always confirm the details that matter to you — especially price, availability, access and whether a site is open and safe — directly with the campsite before you travel. You rely on any listing at your own discretion and risk.

3. Your account & responsibilities

Some features (saving campsites, posting reviews, suggesting edits, submitting or claiming a campsite) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service lawfully and in good faith. You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account.

4. Reviews, suggestions & submissions (user content)

The Service lets you contribute content — including reviews and ratings, suggested edits, new campsite submissions, messages and any images you upload (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for your User Content, and by submitting it you confirm that:

• it is truthful, based on genuine experience or knowledge, and not misleading or fraudulent;
• it is your own, or you have the right to share it, and it does not infringe anyone’s rights;
• it is not unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, obscene, spam, or an infringement of privacy; and
• it does not contain others’ personal data without their consent.

Reviews and ratings reflect the personal opinions of the people who post them, not Unending Roads. We do not endorse, verify or guarantee any User Content.By submitting User Content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. We may review, moderate, decline, edit or remove any User Content at our discretion — for example if it appears false, off-topic or in breach of these Terms — but we are not obliged to monitor content and are not responsible for it.

5. Claimed & owner-managed listings

A campsite owner or authorised manager may claimtheir listing. Once we have verified the claim, they can manage that listing themselves — for example updating the description, prices, amenities, photos, contact details, opening status and booking link. By claiming or managing a listing you represent and warrant that:

• you are the owner of, or are authorised to act for, that campsite; and
• the information you add is accurate, current, not misleading, and lawful to publish.

Content added by an owner is their responsibility, is provided under the User Content licence in section 4, and is published by them — not by us. We may request verification, and we may refuse, suspend or revoke a claim, or remove owner-supplied content, at our discretion (for example on a competing or unresolved claim, suspected misuse, or a rights complaint). Even for claimed listings, we do not guarantee the accuracy of any informationand are not responsible for owners’ content, prices, availability, conduct or dealings with visitors. Verification helps reduce, but does not eliminate, the risk of an unauthorised or inaccurate claim.

6. Featured, promoted & sponsored content

Parts of the Service may highlight certain campsites, promotions, or third-party products and tools as “Featured”, “Promoted” or “Sponsored”. Such placement may be editorial or a paid/agreed arrangement, and it is not a ranking, endorsement, or guarantee of quality, accuracy or availability. Promoted third-party content and advertisements are the responsibility of the relevant advertiser or provider; your dealings with them are between you and them. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party products, services or offers.

7. No affiliation or endorsement

Except where a listing is expressly claimed and managed by its owner, listing a campsite does not imply any partnership, affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement between that campsite and Unending Roads. Ratings and reviews shown are indicative only and may originate from third-party sources or individual users.

8. Bookings, booking links & transactions

We do not operate campsites or handle bookings or payments. A listing may include an external booking linkto a third-party platform or the campsite’s own channel. Those links and platforms are outside our control; we do not guarantee their availability, pricing, terms or security. Any reservation, payment, cancellation, refund, access, safety and conduct on site is solely between you and the campsite or that third-party platform, under their terms. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, those dealings or their outcomes.

9. Why campsites are listed

Listings are created for the benefit of campers and travellers, as a free service. A listing helps people find a campsite, provides free visibility, and directs interested visitors to contact the campsite directly. We do not charge campsites to be listed. 10. Corrections & removal requests

If you own or manage a campsite and would like your listing corrected, updated or removed, we’re happy to help:

• Claim your listing to manage it yourself, submit updates via List your campsite, or use Suggest an edit on the listing; or
• Email us at support@unendingroads.com with your request.

Please include the campsite name and, ideally, proof that you represent it so we can act promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to review and action valid requests within a reasonable time.

11. Intellectual property

Campsite names, logos, trademarks and photographs remain the property of their respective owners. Where such materials appear on the Service, they are used for identification and informational purposes only. If you are a rights holder and believe your material has been used improperly, contact support@unendingroads.comand we will review and, where appropriate, correct or remove it. The Service’s own design, layout, original text and compilation are owned by Unending Roads and may not be copied, scraped or reproduced without permission.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest, copy or bulk-download listings or data from the Service;
• submit false, misleading, fake or manipulated reviews, claims or listings;
• impersonate any person or campsite, or claim a listing you are not authorised to manage;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or disrupt it; or
• use content from the Service for commercial redistribution without our permission.

13. Limitation of liability

The Service and all information on it (including listings, User Content, owner-supplied content, ratings, featured or promoted content and booking links) are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unending Roads and its operators will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or inconvenience arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any content — including from inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information, a site being closed, unsafe or different than described, the acts or omissions of any campsite, owner, user or advertiser, any transaction or booking, or any interaction between you and a campsite or third party.

14. Your responsibility for what you submit

You agree to be responsible for, and to hold Unending Roads harmless from, any claim, loss or demand arising out of content you submit or a listing you claim or manage, including any breach of these Terms or of another person’s rights.

15. Third-party links and content

The Service may embed or link to third-party services (for example, maps, images and booking platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, websites or their practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

16. Changes

We may add, edit or remove listings, features or content, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
