In December 2022, the Seberang Prai City Council (MBSP) issued a temporary closure order due to the campsite being situated near a slope, citing landslide risks during heavy rainy periods following a significant landslide incident elsewhere. Campers are advised to be aware of potential hazards like falling trees and flash floods, especially during monsoon seasons.
