The campsite is generally open, though an entrance gate may be closed after 6 PM, requiring visitors to arrive earlier. Guests should be aware of roaming wildlife, including elephants, in the surrounding palm oil plantations, especially at night. Two well-behaved dogs also reside at the camp. Campers are advised to use insect repellent due to common bugs and to set up tents away from tree roots where ants may be present. Open fires are permitted only on sand.

Parking

Campers can drive directly into the campsite and park next to their tent. The access road is a roughly 2km unpaved track through a palm oil plantation, which can become muddy and bumpy after rain. While generally accessible by normal cars, caution is advised, and it's best to inquire during wet weather.
