A licensed guide is compulsory for all jungle treks. Visitors should be aware of abundant leeches and strong currents at some waterfalls, such as Takah Tinggi, where swimming and fishing are prohibited due to past fatalities. The park closes during the monsoon season (November to March) due to heavy rainfall, and trails can be slippery. Visitors must bring their own food supplies as there are no shops inside the park.

Parking

Visitors must first register at the Bekok Park Office. From there, a mandatory 4x4 transfer is required for the approximately 42 km journey to the Selai visitor complex due to unpaved and difficult road conditions. The main campsite is a short walk from the visitor complex.
